Favorite Mod Combination?

I'm relatively new to playing with mods for FTL. I was wondering, what combinations of mods is everyone's favorites? Which do you recommend to play with at one time and/or individually?

I almost always play mods one at a time unless it's recommended by the author to use another mod. I remember I played a drone-heavy ship that recommended DronesPlus, so I installed that too.

But generally yeah, I mod a ship in, play it, then move on.

I always have Better Backgrounds and Planets, Captain's Edition, the sM Polish Kit, and Low 02 Icons. Then I just add whatever ship mod I feel like doing a run with. When I feel like going vanilla I just remove the CE stuff from the list.

Right now I'm just playing with Captains Edition, imo it really enhances the game. :)
