Cloud savegame compatibility (Win&Linux)

Postby Cthulhus » Thu Jun 13, 2013 9:41 pm

Hello,

I have 2 computer at home. Some time I'm on the PC and some time I'm on the Linux Ubuntu. I would like to know if one day cross cloud savegame will be possible ? I'd like to start a game on PC and finish it on the Linux :)

Thanks !

This seems to be an interesting concept, and it sounds completely fair to want this.
I, myself, am pretty sure it could be done. But, hey, I'm not the maker of the game.
Just putting my opinion across, too. Would be interesting to find out the full answer of this.

Thanks, hope that idea will reach the game creator, savegame/progress compatibility with Mac could be great too (if this game is available for Mac)

By the way, I just transfered my PC saves on the Linux savegame folder and that work, files are the same... So that should be easy for implementation :)

Yeah, we all know that the method you just said would work. But, a proper whole cloud-save for long-distance PCs would be useful for some people depending on their styles.
