I just now fired up FTL after a few years and... well the game itself is still solid and the music is as good as ever but graphically? Honestly, the art is mostly fine but on a 4k screen it looks kind of blurry and pixellated at the same time, and pixellated in a non-intentional looking way too.
I think this game would deserve a bit of a technical overhaul, don't you agree? I am generally not so much in favor of remasters but this one would really deserve it. FTL created a genre. As addictive or more than any classic game I can think of. But yeah, a graphical overhaul would be muchly needed! I would love to see the crew in a bit more detail, the ships in glorious 4k and the space backgrounds more beautiful than ever. The hud could use a touch up too, don't you agree?
