Rei Ayanami -- The First Child

This mod adds Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion to the game as a potential pilot.
As a Mech pilot, she is as replaceable as her anime counterpart-- though her replacements are never quite perfect.



Note that you will need the mod loader installed in order to use this mod.
To install, simply extract the downloaded zipfile into the 'mods/' folder underneath your main ITB game directory.

In addition, I've only tested this mod with the Windows version of the game-- attempting to use this mod on other OSes may crash the game when Rei's ability triggers.
If you do experience issues, however, feel free to send a bug report; I'll try to fix any reported bugs ASAP.

I feel like this pilot has the same usefulness as Karlsson.

5% of the time, it's fairly useful. The other 95%, you wish you had another ability.

Perhaps, but she would be a bit useful on mechs that tend to kill themselves a lot, like the unstable mechs.

Despite not being the greatest ability, I had a giggle.

Still a net upgrade over the bland pilots.

How can I unlock her?

The same way you unlock every other pilot. by finding her in a time pod. Or using a tool to unlock, if there is one. If there is, it'd be on this forum somewhere.
