Federation Shell Transport

Welcome to my second posted ship! This one is a new approach to FTL and employs a new, in my opinion rather interesting, gimmick. Behold the Federation Shell Transport!

This beautiful work of Federation possesses a new type of layered armor that is supposed to make the ship almost untouchable for pirates. Transporting goods would become much safer with this class of the ship. The one and only problem is The Rebellion. It didn't allow the research to continue until recently the hull of this vessel was found in storage, gathering dust. There was no time or budget to get it anything more than most essential systems, but its armor and advanced FTL jumping should allow for avoiding destruction until it is ready to fight.

Pros:
- Very heavy, layered armor that consists of three shell layers, each provides 33% chance of resisting hull and system damage. They can be converted at stores when you see fit and when you believe it is time to fight back, you will not fall behind easily,
- Possesses independent, thick plating on some of the systems, giving them 50% chance of resisting system damage, it is visible on top of the ship, once you "Hide Rooms",
- Jumps away at much faster rate than normal ships,
- Possesses advanced fire suppression system that will reliably handle fires on its own,
- Starts out with decent amount of missiles and drones, its storages hold very high amount of fuel within,
- Can support up to 12 crewmembers on-board,
- Can obtain a very powerful Artillery in a store, that does not require any upgrades:
N.U.K.E. Missile Launcher: After it's done charging, it will unleash one of the biggest missiles FTL had ever seen. It is very likely to resist shots from Defense Drones and once it connects, enemy ship will take very high damage to one room, losing any crew in the room, completely disabling a system and obtaining a new breach and fire. All that for absolutely no cost in missiles and within 25 seconds!

Cons:
- Starts out with almost no systems and no reactor power; barely enough to keep engines, O2 and one and only weapon that is a substitute for Medbay,
- Speaking of which, there are no medical facilities on-board of the ship, they must be prepared at stores,
- Has no damaging weapons at start, only a Heal Bomb as a substitute for Medbay,

Take some hits here and there, then transform and show The Rebellion your true form!
