This is a graphics mod that changes the underlying image for the ship interior that makes up the grey borders on the edge of the rooms. What this mod does is replace that image with a more detailed cutaway view so that the rooms don't look like they are pasted on, but rather like they actually are part of the ship.
This mod includes detailed greebles for all vanilla ships.
Note: This mod may conflict with other mods. If a mod conflicts and the allignment of the graphics is shown incorrectly. It is possible to manually fix this by editing the .append files in the data folder of the .ftl mod file.
Really like this mod and the feel it gives to vanilla ships! Great work.
I'd like to ask your permission to modify these for use with custom ships. All I have in mind is cropping/expanding to fit alternate floor plans, and maybe color shifting. I love the potential for a layered look with this.
Hi, Sorry I'm bumping an old thread, but this mod doesn't seem to work for me. Slipstream mod manager 1.91 seems to think that all the .xml files are junk files and skips updating them when I try to patch.
Do you know what the issue could be?
I have the following mods installed:
Detailed Crew Portrait Graphics 1.1
Highres_Backgrounds_and_planets_2.0
Pretty shields 1.2
GFX Sector Scale
GFX Vanilla Friendly Graphical Tweaks
better_asteroids
