Also, it just occured to me that the fix would only deal with the crashes, not the oddly misplaced hull and shield images.

It should fix the hull offset. I had the exact same problem and making my rooms concurrent fixed it. My ship never crashed, it just looked like with the hull in the upper left of the hangar.

Well, it crashed when I turned on a repair drone and shut it down afterwards.

I never got far enough to play the ship, so I may have had that problem as well. All I'm saying is making your rooms go in order with no gaps should fix the hull offset. Fixing the crash too makes the suggestion sound even better :)

Hmm. I believe my problems are not restricted to indexing.

Closer examination of assault.txt reveal an excessive amount of doors leading to room 0 from various other rooms--

Oh, wait. Vertical-Horizontal toggle. Forgot about that one.

Never mind...

Okay. The auto-assault is still a bit offset, but I'm fairly certain I know why. The scout is also a bit crooked, but it's good enough, and seeing how much effort it took me to put it together in the first place, I'm not going to risk breaking it by fine-tuning it. :)

The first version, as well as screenshots, will be up soon.

Intriguing mod. :)
It occurs to me I probably don't post in these kind of threads often enough, simply for the sake of offering encouragement and kudos, but I gotta say I do like what I see here.

Well, "soon", which was supposed to translate into "the next morning", which translates into "11 AM" for me, has been delayed by internet outages and similar issues.

ETA: 2 hours. Assuming I don't forget about this.

Ok, I'm a bit late according to my ETA from the earlier post, but... it'll be up in 2 minutes tops, and I'm gonna get to work on screenshots immediately after that.

I'm also noticing that nobody responded to my earlier question:

Should TFSB be built on top of CE?

IMO it'd be better to keep it a separate mod, but compatible with CE if possible.
Alternatively, you could prepare two versions, one integrated with CE, and one standalone.

So, since I can't have the best of both worlds, I need to make both worlds. :P

Well, if I don't get any responses telling me to make a standalone version by this time tomorrow, I'll check with Sleeper before making an integrated version. Just an integrated one.

Edit: Oh, and it's up. Forgot to mention that.

So... no feedback? Nothing? :|

Cleared out some of my more obsolete monologue from the OP, it really serves no purpose.

Edit: Could this by any chance be moved to Working Mods? I have a feeling there will be no feedback unless there's somebody trying it out, and apparently that's not easy to achieve while in Mod Development. :|
