[MOD] A Strange New Galaxy 04.01.15 (AE)

[MOD] A Strange New Galaxy version 1.0 --- 04.01.15 (AE Update)

This Mod features:

-> New events (currently 90)
-> New enemies (currently 17)
-> New Playable ships (currently 24)
-> New Weapons (currently 46)
-> New Drones (currently 19)


*Note that all is work in progress and will change A LOT.*

This Mod contains the ships, weapons and drones from my other Mods. Check there for a detailed overview of ships and weaponry:

The Rebellion was a terrible event that nearly destroyed the Federation. It forced the Zoltan to withdraw their membership in order to not get involved in the fighting. And the Engis got weakened so much that they became easy prey for the Mantis.
But the Rebels didnt stop their. In order to get rid of the last remaining Federation ships and outposts they searched the Galaxy... and found Alien races no one had ever heard of before. Like the Crystals, the long lost Ancestors of the Rock people. And even stranger Folks:
The Anterian lived isolated for many centuries within a giant nebula. They believed to be the only sentient Species in the Galaxy. Until a fatal war with another race called the Quosaty showed them that they were wrong. At the moment there is a ceasefire established. But the Rebels are about to destroy that fragile construct called peace.
The Trêêls once were themselves rebels of sorts. Their homeplanet was occupied by many other alien races but eventually they defeated them all and became a independent space empire. But they didnt know when to stop. They are still on a continues fight against what they think are alien aggressors. Even if that aggressor might be a unarmed science station. For the Trêêl every Species is an enemy.
The Uz'ran are not a united species. They are divided in multiple small Tribes that are used to fight against each other. The loosing tribes are forced to leave their home space - even their home dimension! - and enter new lands to live in. Through rifts in subspace some Uz'ran entered our dimension and are seeking now new places to settle. Some tribes will try to achieve their goals with speech and trade. But others might just continue on fighting.
And meanwhile the federation is getting desperate. They are forced to send ships into battle which were never intended for a fight. All sorts of civilian ships are now fighting within the lines of the remaining federation fleet... but still it wont be enough.
The Rebels have spread over the whole Galaxy right now. They have brought war to once peaceful societies and gave the aggressive ones yet another reason to fight. What once started as a civil war had soon lead the entire Galaxy to war!
And it is your duty to make it all stop right now! You must help the Federation to defeat the Rebels once and for all. Or else the Galaxy will fall into chaos.


Save File:
If you dont have all the ships unlocked you can download this and overwrite your own savefile in the mygames folder.

Bug fixing:
Events are a living hell to deal with and even thou you think they work, they might not. If you see anything that doesnt work or if it crashes or if an event is to difficult to deal with: Let me know.
Also if you find any spelling errors or grammatical mistakes do say so. My English is not the best.

Known Bugs:
->Anterian Nebula and Anterian Home World crashes for some people. It might be because of remaining stuff from other mods. Do reinstall FTL and add the Mod again. If the Problem persists, pls let me know. (fixed)
->Celiak Beams will not work if the weapons system is unpowered.

Update with 3 new ships... which you will probably not see cause they are only appearing in the Anterian Sector. So I recommend going there if you see it pop up.

err I tried loading this, but it isn't working, sorry to say, I'm using the one where I get your ships, but I can't get it to work. The error is mentioning crystals, don't know what that means though

What is the error exactly? I can load it with no problem so I dont know what's causing it.

So you dont have a bug loading the mod either? Maybe bren should reinstall his FTL then.
