We are the borg and we have successfully assimilated the rebel fleet. The collective has found the rock plating with 55% is to strong. Our cube barely went below 75% hull and thanks to our reg-hull we were at max hull most of the time. We suggest lowering the percentage to 45 or even 35. We must adapt.
We must say we are pleased with your design of the cube thou. Your visual and acoustic characteristics will be added to ours. Resistance is futile.
Additional:
In general I always found that your prices for the Star Trek Weapons are to high. The cheapest ones were the pulse phaser with 90 scrap and the most expensive I found was the Transphasic for 290... and now some of the borg weapons sell for nearly 200 which means they cost even more.
And now since there are so many new weapons, you basically have to buy them when you see them, because the chances of seen them again are really small. But I never see myself flying around with 300 spare scrap unless its sector 8 and i have nothing to upgrade left.
So I would even the numbers out (especial since you said you dont intend to change the enemies or the events and their scrap drop rate).
So the most expensive weapon is the glaive beam with 120 in ftl vanilla. The cheapest is the ion burst with 30. I would set the prices some where between 50 and 200 at max.

Wtf.. the percent of the borg plating should be 45, not 55. I missed that again. Let me to check it out.
The price of the weapons are really high on purpose, and the rarity is very high on purpose as well. There will be no sense on finding all the weapons every shop u visit, and the high prices are just the price they should have, since they are weapons slighty better than the default ones. I mean, there must be a challenge in saving crap for buying that great weapon u want. But maybe i oversteped a bit, honestly the dumb prices of the default game are stupid, i always buy everything i want cuz the prices are too cheap. I dont even need to worry about saving from one sector to another. I notice that u always want the easy way Metzelmax, but as a game, u need to have patience and if u want buy weapons, u need to save scrap to do it. Borg and the hull adaptation makes gaining scrap harder, so thats one of the reasons u noticed Borg ships have more difficult to save scrap fo buying weapons. I mean, i can reduce the prices a bit, but just a little bit..
Wat about removing the rock plating and the crystal shard from enemies??? is everyone ok with this??

Yeah, weapons should be hard to obtain... but they should be still obtainable. According to steam I have played 24 hours of Star Trek moded ftl and I have never seen the Quantum torpedo for sale; the Transphasic 2 times, but could never afford it.
That is the point: In ftl the weapons are cheap, because you cant plan to get them in a specific sector, or at a specific shop.
I dont want the easy way, but I like having stuff. And seeing stuff I cant buy makes me sad
It's debatable of course. But since only me and DryEagle posting here there are not many opinions to this.
We could create a Triumvirate

Thought i should post some feed back....So here it is!
I was playing around with the Borg ships, and i found them Very hard to use, i don't know if that's what they are designed for....but I'm pretty sure the Borg aren't supposed to die by their 3rd encounter. I think either shields need to be added. Or up the max health for the ships. Other than that i think the Borg ships are fine....

Im sure u are doing something really really wrong if u die with the borg .. so fast , only with the borg beam u can easily get through sector 2 without any problems.. update engines and pilot if u get too many hits, and update doors if u cant fight fire. U have the transwarp drive, if u get too many hits, jump to anywhere u want (of course only at visited beacons).. its easy. But the only problem with borg ships is that they dont use shields/cloak, and the Cube is big, anything else, they are like any other ship... not only that, u have engi crew, that repair things faster..
And no, Borg dont have practical shields, not there, not here.. sorry

LOL, new info.
For some reason, i completely forgot the SLUG_GEL augmentation that i was saving for the Borg, but in the end i replaced it with the repair-arm one.
So the slug_gel (repair breaches) augmentation is available as well ^^, but since it will not fit cardassian of jem haddar, i will preserve it for other ships.
