You can try whether Resource Pack + Main CE works on its own and then troubleshoot from there, adding only CE Infinite afterwards. (In case you have the gog version make sure that you are running FTL Advanced Edition installed.) In case you trying to mod FTL on a very old machine that might also cause problems.

Good day!

As I have mentioned from my post, I have, indeed, tried troubleshooting that way. It all falls apart after putting EL Texture and EL Addon. It all works from CE Resource + Main + CEI. I am currently playing on my Macbook Air 2011 since I do not have any knowledge on assembling my own PC. Just boot camped a Windows 7 right here.

Yeah, in that case your mashine can't handle the amount of assets that EL adds. The game wasn't really intended to load that much stuff in memory. If you already enabled more ram usage for FTL then there isn't much you can do, you'll have to play without EL or try on a better machine.

so perhaps a suggestion for an add on

an add on that makes it so you don't have to do the begining event with fuel. Because plenty of runs have gone bad because of a lack of fuel. Just a thought.

After our last conversation I decided to do some "Socializing Overhaul" by myself and for myself. I learnt how to do things in xmls and brought some old and new ideas to life using as a basic material Captains Edition mod. For now I made only Human Socializing. I know that there are for sure some spelling or grammar things. I'm not good english speaker. I tested those events dozens of times by repeating and reseting all the time. Now it's time for some balance tests.

What changes I made? Here they are:

-added two new very big events. In first basic line is attempt to upgrade piloting system and in the second finding secret store location. Of course it's not easy to do. There are many dangers and basic decisions are risky. That's why I made many blue options and most of them use different crew species (that's what I understand as  socializing :P) and sometimes ship's gear. Sometimes it's just waste of the time and sometimes it will be very generous.
-for balance added one civilian text event
-completely modified by adding more outcomes to the event with map revealing
-added one big outcome to the family reunion event
-added few outcomes to the human friend event
-fed hidden base event and human love event I left untouched.

As I said since the beginning of my work I tried to make balanced, but complex events with many possible outcomes.

It's just one species for now but if you want use it use files I will give below. Give me information if you are interested or maybe someone else in my further work, because if not I will not be hassling you more.

I looked through the files but as mentioned, I currently don't have the much time to spare working on CE (and there are some things I'd change about the writing, some later event texts refer to your human crewmen, even though there is no guarantee that you still have one.) But feel free to publish this as a stand alone extension for CE's social system on your own for now.

I don't think the player-based Flashbang is the issue here when it comes to being used.
It's all those enemy ships who have the Flashbang Drones and those ships with the Flashbang Bomb Artillery. They fire often and annoyingly loud.
Can all Flashbangs just make the explosion noise and not the ringing sound afterwards?
Because even in 1.302 it's still there.
