When I was fighting a rebel lifter, there were two weapons, I think in the top left corner at 0,0 hiding behind the UI. I knew that they were there because of otherwise inexplicable weapon fire. There were 2 weapon mounts properly placed on the ship however, for a total of 4. Don't have a screenshot...

I found a glitch! I started a game with mantis cruiser type b (my fav ship) and one of my mantises started without a name. When I hover my mouse over him, the black box with his health doesn't even leave space for his name, its just not there. On a side note, this is what happens when I play the roc...

You should edit the mantis escape pod event so that if you have a slug, you can telepathically detect whether the occupant is human or mantis. If it's mantis, you can still open it, for the same chance of it being friendly or hostile as the current event. You could do something similar for the manti...
