Re: [MOD]The NightHawk

I was playing on Easy and barely managed to ensure the flagship went down slightly before my crew would have asphyxiated. I found the Halberd beam floating in open space, which was almost as lucky as finding an Engi on the second jump. Without the Engi I probably wouldn't have survived past the seco...

Re: Did you know? List little tips and tricks here!

If you depower an attack drone so that it drifts slightly out of the enemy's shield, when repowered it'll fire instantly, allowing you to time drone shots. Every projectile has collision, its possible for anything to shoot down missiles, lasers, drones, etc. If your attack drone is flying towards th...

Re: Adv. FTL Nav usefulness?

I think that a way to make Adv. FTL Nav better would be to let it show you where the fleet will jump to next, but jumps in advance. so maybe it could show you where the fleet would be in 3 jumps using lighter shades of red? it would also update depending on nebula / fleet slowing event. that would ...

Re: Skill farming

I usually don't spend a great deal of time farming skill, but one thing I do is lower my shields after a fight, and raise them again when I reach an enemy until I get max shield skill. This gets my shield skill up to max pretty early on in the game and has low risk versus most enemies (Exception bei...

Re: [MOD][WIP] FTL Infinite Space

A small bug to report:
I encountered a Crystal Scout with human slaves on it, I had a full crew, but accepted their surrender for a different crewmember. After receiving the new crewmember, the crystal scout remains hostile, blowing up my O2 room before I notice that they didn't actually surrender.

Re: Crew Dismissal: Why No Confirmation?

There is a max, and there is a warning when a crew member will be replaced (but you can't go to the crew screen and dismiss one, so I would assume it randomly picks one to dismiss) A conformation button would be a nice add-on When it tells you one will be replaced, after you accept it shows the cre...

Disregarding context, this remains true.

Re: Why doesn't Cloak go off CD after a battle

There would be no change to the balance of the game if cloak reset when there are no hazards on the node. Literally the only change would be in the real world, in that we wouldn't have to waste time. The game wouldn't become easier, or harder, it'd just take up less of our valuable free time. If the...

This would definitely be my 'most infuriating encounter', this encounter has been positive for me once, and I keep running into it nearly every game.
