When the enemy fires, keep pausing until the laser is right at the edge of your screen. See where it comes from, and angle it through your ship. Will it hit Cloak OR Weapons? No? Let it hit. Yes? Activate Cloak. This will greatly enhance your start. Perhaps an augment (or a sensor or helm upgrade?)...

[Suggestion] Auto-save End Ship Layout

Not sure about the implementation difficulty. But it would be nice if the game would "save" the final ship load-out when you.
A. Beat the game (ship layout when you win)
or
B. Dies. (either ship layout when you die or the layout/crew before the jump into the beacon that kills you).

I think drone recovery arms also recover anti-ship and beam drones (offensive drones).
I've noticed that every time I destroy an enemy ship with drones, I always get a "refund" on those drones (and when I jump, my defense drones gets "refunded").

No, you cannot divide your shots. The enemy's burst shot just treat each shots individually and targets at completely random part of your ship. Which makes some of those... shots bizzare. For example... Ion bomb/shot in system less room. Burst laser shot in system-less room (that's not hull laser). ...

Um, question on Millenium Falcon to POM_Fenris.

Shouldn't Millenium Falcon have shield instead of cloak (a lvl 1 shield and no cloak)?

Lolz. The split bomb rules when you use shield penetration missiles to blow a enemies O2 plant... Hm... I would imagine ghosts to be more resilient to damage, being ghost and all. So... 500 HP? 1/4 damage 1/2 repair speed 1/2 movement speed Immune to suffocation damage (their soul is bound to the ship, if the ship dies, they disappear). 1/2 damage from fire. Hard to kill, but also pretty useless...

The dev did talk about POSSIBLY adding modding support to the game after it release.
So future updates may not add encounters/events, but may provide sufficient modding supports for you to get those encounters/events from other people.
