Re: What was your easiest Flagship kill?
Eh, the first time I ran the Engi ship I had an ion burst II, I, and a Heavy Ion. Granted, a lot of that was because I was trying to unlock Engi B, but it worked quite well. Couldn't get the scrap to get my third drone working though and my defenses were kind of crap so the flagship tore through me ...

Re: Achievements That Would Have Been Amazing
Ah, okay, I was confused. I only got it because my men were dying anyways and my teleporter was still charging, so I just fired on it, killing everybody on board, my own crew included. I thought it was being sarcastic, since I lost immediately afterwards.

What was your easiest Flagship kill?
Had a game last night where I actually dominated the game for the first time. Was playing as Engi A and managed to find two other Anti-Ship I Drones before I left sector one, which allowed me to more or less steamroll my way through the game. Eventually ended up with another Ion Burst II, and a Burs...

Re: Achievements That Would Have Been Amazing
We'll never get this, since the devs will probably spend their time implementing actual features, but wouldn't it have been awesome to get achievements for stupid deaths? [list] [*] "Glorious sacrifice." - Destroy a ship with your crew on it. Er, this one's already implemented I thought? ...

Re: An interesting, albeit bleak, situation
This is cool to know, thanks. I've been doing Mantis B runs lately. I panicked and pulled all of my crew back after I took a hit to the teleporter that was slowly burning away.

Re: [MOD] Law's arsenal of Mods and Overpowered Weapons!
Does the new bomb only breach and does it do system/personnel damage as well? Either way, it sounds interesting enough to use.

Re: Your dumbest FTL moments
I board ships in environmental hazards. All the freaking time. And then laugh and restart when another asteroid hits and wipes out the ship with my crew on it. However, the worst of those was when I successfully crew killed a ship in an asteroid field and then took my time repairing everything on my...

Re: Which ship did you find the easiest to Unlock?
Assuming Engi ship doesn't count, my first unlocked ship was the Stealth, completely by accident. Then I got home and decided to switch to my main computer and the Stealth ended up one of the last ships I got. As it stands now, the only ship I'm missing is the Rock one.

Re: Can you beat the game without shields?
I haven't done it personally, but I don't see why you can't. You'll have to rely on other systems though. A drone bay helps, regardless of whether you opt for defense or attack (I typically go for attack to constantly harass while I'm in cloak). If you can find a stealth weapons aug and some decent ...

Re: FTL guide to boarding: V1.0
It should be noted that a Crystal Being's lockdown can also lock people OUT of rooms. I typically use them to barricade doors in my own ship while venting, but they're also handy for teleporting into the enemy's med bay and locking it down so they can't run away to heal. You can also use it to lock ...
