Thank you! It was one of the first events ever, and intended as just random filler, but I enjoyed it so much every time I saw it myself I kept it in. It's one of my favorites as well.

Hey, please press "ESCAPE" when in game and check out the options screen. :) Restart is required, but it should work out for you. Hope that helps.

Currently, I agree that life support is not a very interesting target when shooting at the enemy, but it is rather frightening when the player life support system goes down. Oh! I'm sorry I did not understand your suggestion. You wanted the option to completely remove systems (or races) from the game. Interesting idea, but I think it's a little too ingrained *everywhere* with the enemy balance, event design, etc. that it wouldn't work very well. Something to think about...

I think maybe it'd be worth pointing out one small fact about the game. Technically, you're looking at a "Beacon Map" not a map of stars :). Beacons were created by the intelligent species of the galaxy and placed to aid in FTL jumps and calculations. They're haphazard in their placement, ...
