All weapons work relatively similarly. With a Burst Laser, the first projectile fires *immediately* so the it will shoot, but then the weapon will power off before firing the rest. With something like a bomb where the firing animation takes longer than a single frame, then the weapon needs to remain...

This is a bug that will be fixed in the next update. Kieve you're correct in terms of how the game treats the rules, but I don't believe mind controlled crew should be counted in that manner at that time.

They can actually teleport through Zoltan Shields even that haven't taken damage. There's a bug in the teleport retrieval code. It'll be fixed in the next update.

I've tested this and it's working as expected. That would be a very strange problem, as there's no part of the game that understands "this section breaks off". You probably just had a string of odd 'luck' with the RNG.
