I'm having a problem with the mod. I have downloaded 7a from http://www.moddb.com/mods/sonata/downloads/sonata-7a and have changed it from .zip to .ftl. The mod loader recognizes it and it loads it with no errors but when I run the game it's the normal game instead of the conversion. Any ideas? Tha...

I've made installation a little easier; the .ftl file and readme will be inside the .zip you download.

Ah, useful thanks. So the Tsunami does it by overwriting ARTILLERY_FED. I was hoping I could make an artillery weapon for another ship while still having the vanilla Federation ships be functional. Most of it is hardcoded. I did some playing around and it looks like the Boss's artillery slots are populated by ARTILLERY_BOSS_ n[/i[ in order.
