Sometimes hacking and oxygen are worth taking out, also. With the right arsenal you can asphyxiate the enemy crew for extra scrap, even without hacking their oxygen system.

That's why I said "ships" not "ship"
I agree that Crystal B is almost surely the single best ship. Beyond that I don't think anything can be ranked nearly as conclusively.

Well, 10/10 so far with Zoltan A. It got easier as I went along, and fine tuned my store visits and early scrap hoarding. I agree, although there are lots of awfully imbalanced weapons. In my mod I'm making them much better, lower cooldowns, higher breach + fire, plus missiles only cost 2 scrap in the shop. But their damage is staying the same or a bit lower, so the AI doesn't benefit as much. Plus I make it easier for...
