Technically you can already edit out specific high scores, all you have to do is edit them and tick the 'delete' box.

huh...very interesting, i just managed to edit the prof.sav myself, and changed one achievement i had unlocked on the stealth ship, to another.

using whats made, i can determin the experience levels for the skills of your crew, but i'm not quite sure on it myself...it may be that the numbers are in different places depending on the race of the crew member, but i'm not 100% sure.

Crew size may not be on the 'to change' terms...but...i successfully added the artillery room from the fed ship right onto the crystal cruiser, as well as changed the locations of several rooms around. now my copy of the crystal cruiser has 4 teleport pads, artillery...and the door control room is w...

a little modder's ingenuity is what i needed...giving a ship the stasis pod to start with and flying it into Zoltan space to wake the crystal in the pod up worked, then all i had to do was fly around rock homeworld space.

i dont know how to edit that save file.

meanwhile, unlocking them via adding the unlock section to the tutorial...only lasts for the one time the game is up. once its closed, its gone.

i just found us another methood for crystal cruiser aquisition, the stasis pod itself is classed as an augmentation. plop that down in a ship (say maybe make it a piece of tech leftover in a rock ship) and it'll act as if you found it among the asteroids. and it'll let you get the ship if you can ma...
