Re: [Tool] ftldat r7

Okay well thanks anyway. Maybe I can get it to work eventually. Oh and this is a trojan similar to the one I'm finding, although it has slightly different numbers than this one. http://home.mcafee.com/VirusInfo/VirusProfile.aspx?key=259866 It's a bug in the virus scanners. See for instance http://w...

Re: [Tool] ftldat r7

Yes the installer, When I try to open the installer is says: The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software ...

Help?

You are not specific enough. What do you mean with "I try to open ftldat". Do you mean the installer?

What is the exact error message? Which version of Windows do you run.

Re: [Tool] ftldat r7

Little late saying this, but the whole reason I'm using the installer is because I can't install python on this computer (owner says no), so building it from source doesn't work for me. Maybe you can re-upload it or look for any tampering? There is no tampering in the original file. If you can't ru...

Re: [Tool] ftldat r7

My virus software tells me your standalone installer has a trojan called artemis!(abunchofnumbers). I'm not accusing you of anything, but yeah. The main reason I'm mentioning this is I can't use the damn thing now. If you don't trust the executable, build it from source. See https://github.com/bwes...

You don't need to install it via setup.py. Just run the src/main.py.

Re: [Tool] ftldat r7

I have the DRM-less version of FTL, but I have it installed on my desktop, since my parents don't want to give me the admin password. How do I install the ftldat program/run it? Let someone zip the ftldat directory in their Program Files folder. Unpack it somewhere on your computer. You can run ftl...

Re: [Tool] ftldat r7

Okay, I followed the instructions to install and use. I copied the data.dat and resource.dat from the game directory to a folder I made in the ftldat directory. I extracted data.dat first. It appeared successful, but I can't find the files anywhere. I loaded cmd as an admin and extracted resource.d...
