I'd like to request a feature where pausing the game is disabled. I know it removes a bit of strategy, but it would give us a hard-mode without changing anything. I suspect players will be getting 100% completions soon, this could be an easy (pre-dlc) way to add life to the game post launch. =)
You could even call it Hardcore.

Do not use the pause feature. There! I've given you free DLC!

I have no self control! Also, seeing others finish in this mode would be neat. (and it would act as a way to verify that level of play).

Ah yes, that's another solution!

There's currently only two ways to make this happen: mentally or physically.

Look sir im sorry you can seem to not be able to tap your space bar. If you would like further assistance you can proceed to the next cliff and jump...

There's no need to be snippy. It's a perfectly reasonable suggestion.

Re: Feature Request: No Pause Mode
I'm sure there is a program you can download that will "lock" a keystroke on or off.
That said, This did come to mind as a self-imposed hard mode, but sometimes pausing is justified, such as if I send 2 characters to repair a room with no oxygen in it, and as soon as they're done, pause and have them go back to the med bay or another room. If it was real life they should automatically know they were supposed to go back to their stations, so i have no problem pausing.
Pausing for a minute in the heat of battle to calm down/form your plan, I could see why a "hard" mode might disable pause.

Yeah, I really don't know why people reacted like that. The first comment was mildly amusing, the second perhaps too, but after that it was just needless picking on one guy for having an idea.
To OP, no pausing has been suggested before. I personally think it would probably make the game near impossible, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm all for extra options!

Thanks. =) The main reason for the request is that we could then compare progress on the nearly impossible challenge without having to worry about someone taking liberties. Seems a simple enough feature to add, not sure why it's getting so much hate.
