I think its 12 which I got by powering down everything and venting the ship to kill the crew on the first screen.
25 though is my low for dying after one jump.
Going to see if I can firebomb myself and get a lower score though. Really going for single digit here. May as well embrace the fail rather than fight it. I never beat the boss anyway so why bother trying anymore. The game is now kind of like the sims where I seek out creative ways to kill off my crew and ship as quickly as possible.
10 points if you get a Rock cruiser and burn the crew to death while at the same time suffocating them. Not sure I can top that one.
New way to play FTL, Lowest score possible.

I thought you were going to list victories with lowest scores. That would be an achievement.

We should make this into a competition where the one who gets the most far in the game with the lowest score wins.

Lowest score by sector then?
Victory
lowest score
next lowest
etc..
Sector 8
lowest score
next
ect..
Sector 7
etc
etc
How about that? We could compile it into a Lo-Score Table. The only reason lowest scores in early sectors aren't on top is because it's so hard to play while keeping the score low.
I don't know what that will say about FTL fans (that isn't already suspected by the rest of the world )

Well, score is 20 per kill, 10 per unvisited jump, 1 per scrap collected, x1.25 for normal.
You start with 10 scrap, so 12 is always going to be the minimum score no matter what you do.
If you Basically if you want lowest score you just go for a pure pacifism run - take the stealth cruiser and start running straight for the exit in each system in as few jumps as possible. Won't help you for the boss though

This was an amazing way to play the game and very challenging. I do not know if the challenge is for EASY or NORMAL... but I chose normal as the score boost seemed another challenge to help overcome.
My wacky manti Soupcan and Weezil managed to take down the flagship with harsh language and an ion bomb and had a score of 2327.
It was a very fun game to play.

I was just about to attempt a speed run (IRL time), but this seems more in line with the "pause & plan" nature of the game
