"Asylum granted? We never asked for Asylum." He hailed the ship to be granted with a ship AI. "Excuse me but."
"Thank you for calling the Federation Asylum Services, or the FAS."
"Yes, I was ask..."
"Please state your question."
"Why are you docking? We..."
"We are docking to escort the asylum seeker known as Marc Chase as requested by Tullifer Chase. Preparing to dock."
Turzil turned to Algen. "Ok, if we just get Marc Chase we can, wait where is he?" A guard explained the death of Marc. "Oh, this is bad." The FAS ship docked and a familiar voice filled the corridors.
"Son, it is not safe to be on this ship. We need to escort..." Tullifer entered the helm to the sight of Turzil, Algen and a guard. He stared at them. Turzil broke the silence. "Tully! So nice to..." He was interupted by Tullifer aiming his pistol to the engi and calling for backup. "You're not Turzil, your the fraud."
"What? No this is just a big misunderstanding."
"I'ld love to hear your response, I went to your funeral a week ago. And more importantly, WHERE IS MY SON?" Turzil stayed silent, he did not want to tell a close friend he might have inadvertently killed his son in a mutiny. "Well? EXPLAIN!"

Dargjas heard the commotion nearby. Over the comms he said: "Hello, Admiral Tullifer Chase. I am Dargjas Verik, and your son is a pompous idiot who can't even detect sarcasm. I have no idea why he was even given any command. Whatever you do, I wouldn't recommend finding me. I'll come to you when I want to be found. Right now, Tullifer, As per your request, I am trying to locate Marc. Unfortunately, I've wrecked Marc's sensors. So, I'm borrowing yours." A few minutes later, Dargjas continued. "I'm sorry for your loss, Admiral, but it appears your incompetent son has finally been kicked out by his own men. His body is currently floating away from his ship. I can tell that it was one of his own, because Turzil, Mawkish and Algen didn't even get out of their cell until after he was dead, judging by the distance from the ship."

"Thank you, I mean no thank you, I mean. ARGHH." Tullifer lowered his pistol. He knows what Dargjas said was true, but he didn't want to give up hope on his son.
"Tully." Turzil said. "Not to be offensive, but your son was not fit for command."
"I know, I just." Tully sighed. "Care too much for him."
"It's better if you know now, your son was murdered by his assistant." Tullifer stared at Turzil, sadness in his eyes. A tear fell down his face. "He wasn't very liked amoung his crew." Turzil added.
"I need a moment." Tullifer stated, running out of the room with tears pouring down his face.

This all seemed like déjà vu to him. Tullifer did the exact same thing when his brother died in battle, after that he swore to protect his family. He gave his three children jobs that he could monitor and be close by for, instead of them being half way across the galaxy. He obviously realised Marc's job wasn't safe as he gave Marc asylum.

"Well, Admiral, if his body can be recovered, I might be able to run it through a Lanius clone bay. But I can only do that if I get to Lania, which, despite your willingness to let me go, the Federation's laws will not allow. Lania isn't on good terms with the Federation since the theft of Kruos, which..wait. If the Federation actually has Kruos, you don't need to go to Lania! You could just use Kruos's clone bay! Lania'll be pissed that they didn't get Kruos back, but Marc has a chance to be alive."

"The Kruos?" Tullifer sobbed. "Perhaps, but then I would need to gain access to it, and its currently being used for a classified project."

(I'm going to be honest, the asylum thing did not go where I expected it to. This should be cool, though.)

"I - wait, what in the world is even happening at this point?!"

Algen took out his data pad and began searching.

"Turzil, the Federation Asylum Service is a government program, not a private company. It offers legal protection for valuable individuals who are persecuted otherwise. I'm not sure Tullifer is the Tullifer you know - or Tullifer at all."
"There isn't good or bad. There's just insane."
"Blamsauce!"

“Private company?” Turzil asked. “What made you think it was a private company? Its designed to offer protection to valuable individuals. Based on the current incidents it would make sense to get him out of here, and Marc is second in command for Federation top general.” However, Turzil was doubting whether or not this is real. The FAS doesn’t just provide asylum to someone because of a request.

Suddenly Tully got onto his comms. “They’ve figured it out. Warp me out and bombard the ship.” The startled Turzil stepped back. “Tullifer, explain.”
“You idiot engi.” The imposter splurtered. He was beamed out as a missile rocked the ship. Turzil turned to Algen,
“Well, as you humans would concour, fuck.” The ship’s crew went into a panic. One went into the helm where Turzil and Algen were. “What should we do captain?” Turzil paused.
“Me?”
“Yes, you!”
“Well, someone, should jump us out.”
“I’m on it.” Another said. Within a few moments the ship warped to another beacon, luckily empty. “They’re going to just follow our jump signature.”
“Well,” Turzil said, “any suggestions?”

"Oh shit! The other ship's just jumped out and I'm stuck in the sensors here. Well, so long. And thanks for all the fish." Dargjas gave the Lanius equivalent of a smile as he said that last part. "From what I heard, time to try and wreck some oxygen." Dargjas carefully climbed back into the vent he had crossed between the ships with, and began following oxygen pipes. Eventually he reached the oxygen. He just kept slashing and slashing until someone turned up. "Who th..." was all the officer could get off before being cut down. Eventually the oxygen fell and Dargjas hopped back into the vents with the officer's gun. Another soldier came in. "Johnack, what the hell happened? Bridge, we have boarders." He was shot down by Dargjas. Slowly the oxygen left. Each time someone entered to fix it, they fell. Everybody was dead. Dargjas slipped into the bridge, where the impostor had suffocated, entered a new id code, D4RG745, and jumped to the others. He opened comms.
