anyone getting tera?

now i realize that Tera is a MMO and pay monthly and not cheap either. but is anyone getting it?

Perhaps you should better explain what Tera is...

Seems like a very fresh take on the non-point & click MMO theme, though we've seen some of these before and potentially coming up (Global Agenda and Guild Wars 2 anyone)?

I played TERA for about four hours during the open beta and, honestly, it's not that great. I was drawn in by the promise of tactical combat where movement and timing are important, but found nothing more than the usual auto-attack-until-dead fare.

The world is beautifully realised, rich in detail and imagination, but the gameplay just doesn't measure up. Ultimately, TERA's just another MMORPG.

I have to disagree there Ninetailed.
I'm playing a warrior in TERA and I'm able to solo boss level monsters designed for groups of 5 people to take down, purely thanks to making tactical decisions while fighting them. I don't know any other MMORPG where that'd be possible.

Frankly that does sound a bit more interesting to me. I always hated how the only skill required to do well in an MMO is time management (and people management at high levels).
