Subset Games Forum

Does Subset plan to release an update to the iPad app to fill the available space on the new form factor for the iPads Pro? If so, is there any ETA? Currently, FTL is displayed in "legacy" mode with black bars at the edges.

Subset, please add full screen support for the iPad pro 11" and 12.9" screens!!!

First, I wanted to acknowledge everyone in this thread (been watching for a while).

Second, we are aware of this. I can't say anything official, but it is on our radar.

That is great to hear!! Fingers crossed it’s sooner than later and I will be stalking the forums for updates

Also created an account only for this purpose. It would be great to have FTL on 11" and 12.9" iPads.

Any news on this? Almost another year passed and I know it‘s unlikely to still happen, but I refuse to give up hope. I just love this game too much and as a husband and father the iPad is my preferred platform to play on.

There's an increasing number of iPads with borderless screens such as the:
- iPad 2018 11"
- iPad 2018 12.9"
- iPad 2020 11"
- iPad 2020 12.9"
- iPad Air 4
