Game overly pixelated

Postby snakehips » Fri Sep 14, 2012 1:55 pm

This is not in regards to the graphical style of the game - I knew it'll be kind of retro.
But the fonts are squashed/hard to read and the overall game looks more pixelated than it should. I saw the preview here on the site and the WTF is FTL from Totalbiscuit. The game looked superb in those. I'm playing Starcraft 2 and LoL on here on decent settings with no problems. What can I do?

Can you take a screenshot please? Did you try windowed mode and the fullscreen modes?

Cheers,
Matthew

Yes, I tried all the different screen options, didn't help.
Also tried compatibility options, no luck either.

I'm having precisely the same issue, having tried the fullscreen/windowed options.

I'm very sorry about this, what are your system specs? It looks like your video card drivers don't fully support OpenGL 2.0 which is distorting the images when they get loaded into memory. I have a laptop with a similar problem because AMD dropped driver support for some older cards for Windows 7. That same laptop running a different OS with up to date drivers does not have a problem. Make sure you're fully up to date and your video card is fully supported by your current OS.

Don't judge me :3

I have a macbook pro running boot camp with windows 7 on it. The graphics card is an amd mobility radeon x1600 and I think I have the newest drivers (8.593.100.0) for that. Can I get newer ones?

I have the exact same Problem, also tried different game settings (full screen off, stretch, borders...)

I have a Radeon X1950 (Catalyst Version 10.2) on Win 7 64 bit.

Would love to hear how to fix this problem.

Same problem, also on win7 with a 'legacy' ATI X1300 video card. The newest drivers available are Catalyst 10.2, AMD dropped support for all of the old DX9 cards in 2010.
