Xsplit and FTL

I have installed and test both Steam and .Exe versions of FTL but the same thing happens on both.
I open up xSplit and FTL will stop responding.
I open up FTL then xSplit and FTL will stop responding.
I do this in fullscreen and windowed and the same thing happens.
Anyone know anything about this?
