Kyrie didn't know where to run to, but she started running anyway. There was a door on a wall near them, so she went toward it. The door opened and she ran straight into a rockman coming through the door in a hazmat suit. Kyrie fell back, but the rock was hardly fazed. He pulled out a gun and yelled: "Stop there! In the name of the Grand Inquisition!"

Lux followed after Kyrie as they headed for the door. Several searchlights around the dock came beaming down upon the two; Lux however did not slow down, not even when the Rock in his HAZMAT suit drew out a gun. She ran past the Rock and in one swift motion, Lux had cut the weapon in half with her Mantis-claw blade.
The Rockman was too shocked to properly retaliate, throwing a wild punch at thin air since Lux had already run past.

He turned his attention towards Kyrie only for his head to have been blasted clean off. A dark-grey Rockman wielding what seemed to be a massive blaster cannon stood in the corridor, holding a loose panel open with a foot. "This way Humans. The Inquisition will be swarming the docks in a hurry" the Rock said, dropping what seemed to be a cigar to the floor and stubbing it "I'll explain what's happening once we're in the tunnels."

Kyrie scrambled to her feet and ran after Lux. She slipped into the the open panel and followed the rough tunnel downwards. She hadn’t had time to question the action, but it was better than being out in the docks. The path spiraled down until it opened up into a larger tunnel with a few other rockmen in it.

"Thank the gods that we found you first!" The Rockman asked, handing their blaster cannon to another Rockman. Every Rockman either seemed to be wearing tattered pants or just opted to only wear a bandoleer of power cells around their chests. "I'm Captain Dunthrom."
Lux took a few deep breaths and retracted her sword's blade. "I take it you're the resistance fighters who are seeking to fight the Grand Inquisition over their injustices?"
"No, we're fighting to protect the Holy Words from their corrupted translations."
Lux scratched her head in confusion.
"Of course you outsiders wouldn't understand. The Grand Inquisition wants to keep us isolated and ignorant of others" Dunthrom explained, lighting another cigar "But the Supreme Inquisition sees it differently... we believe that our galactic neighbours should be welcomed and allied with."

He led Lux and Kyrie down the tunnel and into what seemed to be an underground base, complete with ladders, elevators and... a casino next to a distillery. The Rockmen in the area all seemed to be similarly dressed like the others, armed for war. "Eons ago, our ancestors left us with the Holy Words, teaching us certain values and how to run society..."
He skimmed over a quick mission summary on a datapad handed to him.
"Of course, the scholars all had a different idea on what they meant and wrote their own translation of them... The Supreme, the Grand and the Omega... you don't want to meet those guys."
Lux gave a look to Kyrie like, What did we get ourselves into?

It's sort of like Protestants vs Catholics although just like the Catholics, the Grand Inquisition has the greater PR.

Kyrie shrugged and looked around the place. It seemed like they were down here to hide. “So who are the Omega then? And why are you hiding down here?”

"The Omega Inquisition believe that all non-Rock life should be eliminated as to pave the way for the return of the gods" Dunthrom said, opening up a door. Inside was what seemed to be a tunnel the Rocks were using for storage. Several large crates were being hauled by hand or stacked along the sides.
"The revolution is still yet but a seed in the Numa System" he explained to Kyrie "We're hiding down here and smuggling the Supreme Holy Word across the planets until the people are informed of the truth! Then we can rise!"
"So wiat, you're the... Supreme Inqusition?" Lux asked.
"Exactly! You Humans will help us spark this revolution, will you not?"

Lux again looked to Kyrie "Uuuuhh...."

“Well I don’t think we were looking to get involved in a revolution... we were just trying to make some scrap when the Grand Inquisition barged in.” Kyrie looked around at the crates stacked in the tunnel. “I think we could ship some of these crates, but our runabout’s back at the dock.

Back with Bren...

He was in his ship being chased by some other Rock Ships

"DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN!" Bren cried out trying to rotate the railcanon

Over with him hugging him was the rockwoman himself...seems she had a Zoltan Fetish and took the opprentunity to get out of her life....

"Dear please, your crushing me" Bren groaned

"Sorry honey just seeing you all badass I just had to hug you" she said giving a low toned giggle

Honestly the guys would never believe Gremeta came with him willingly...or that she gave up her life to be with him, or that they already slept together....

Yeah no one would believe all this....

"GORLAG OUR ENGINES?!" Bren cried out

"75 Percent" he called out

"Shit, not gonna make it" he said trying to swerve to avoid some missiles....

"SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!"

“Well I don’t think we were looking to get involved in a revolution... we were just trying to make some scrap when the Grand Inquisition barged in.” Kyrie looked around at the crates stacked in the tunnel. “I think we could ship some of these crates, but our runabout’s back at the dock.

"Don't worry about the docks" Dunthrom said, gesturing towards his soldiers. "Your friend's quick thinking has the Inquisition running around in a panic. We'll be able to take control long enough to get you out of there with the shipment."
"What the hell is the V-Virus anyway?" Lux asked.
Dunthrom laughed "It's a virus designed to destroy all organic life in an area, including Rock-based lifeforms."
Lux gave a nervous chuckle "And the Omega Inquisition made it?"
Dunthrom nodded "With a little help from their friends..."

Several crates were dropped in front of Lux and Kyrie; emblazoned on the top was a light blue eagle with the letters "MFK."
"These contain the Supreme Holy Word for transport. You will receive payment on arrival with our contacts. Do not open them; they're rigged with explosive charges and it will tear your ship apart should you or the Grand inquisition think about looking inside... so don't get caught either."

And suddenly activity just dropped off...

Lux and Kyrie were led back to the docks by the Rockmen. The Supreme Inquisition were just finishing up their battle; Rockmen in fancy red uniforms and HAZMAT suits littered the grounds; a red-painted Rock Assault was in pieces.
The runabout had taken a few shots to the side but it was superficial damage. Nothing a bit of paint can remove, Lux thought to herself as she warmed up the engines.

The crates had been loaded onboard by the Rockmen. "Pity you didn't get to use the loader. Maybe you'll get your chance once we get to Numa III though" Lux said to Kyrie.

Maybe Ruwen could accidentally stir up some activity

And suddenly activity just dropped off...

"DAMN IT PASS ME THE SHOT GUN!" Bren called out as Gorlag tossed him the old fashioned shot gun and fired it at some Rockmen

"Swear to whatever god you worship Grem if we keep having to kill these guys I'm gonna be pissed" Bren said rising up out of the gorund to fire a few more times...
