Weird Worlds: Pay what you want!

Postby Matthew » Mon Dec 03, 2012 6:35 pm

Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space was one of the inspirations that lead to us creating FTL. It's a great game and if you haven't played it or heard of it, you should definitely check it out. They are re-launching it on Desura and Steam in the very near future, but as a pre-launch celebration it's currently on sale for pay what you want on indiegamestand.com. Go buy it! Be generous!

EDIT: Steam / Desura key will also be given if you purchase it there :)

Good deal. I'm a little disapointed with the average price being so low. Game deserves 10 bucks easily. Oh and it's DRM free if you buy now, not sure about Desura and Steam versions that follow.

One of the bonus items is the free game Strange Adventures in Infinite Space. That game alone kicks ass! Short, sweet and usually cruel. :D Though, i'm having some trouble running it on a new pc, but that's besides the point.

If anyone wants a taste of some old Digital Eel goodnes, check out SAIS here.

Already own sais & weird worlds; both great games, though neither as good as ftl :)

Might drop a £ or 2 for steam keys.

Man i dropped a fiver without registering and it's taking forever to get an email from them so that i can activate an account and actually get the game. That wasn't part of the bargain but i guess it could be worse. :?

it said buy, not register and buy... lol@slow emails

EDIT - Have to give their support credit. They resolved the issue within an hour. woohoo

Killer game and you never even need to fire a shot if you don't want to.
