Are you wondering why Steam doesn't tell you anything about where the soundtrack was saved?
So am I. Regardless, this will hopefully help you find it.

Short answer - It is in the same folder as the game



Long answer -

Windows -
Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\FTL Faster Than Light\FTL - Original Soundtrack
Note: It may be in \C:\Program Files (x86)\...

Mac -
* Open Finder
* Click Go
* Click Go to Folder...
* Type /Users/(your username here)/Library/Application
Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/FTL Faster Than Light/(soundtrack
directory here)
* Click Go

Awesome! I bought the game/soundtrack bundle...and I couldn't find it at all.

Mine was in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\FTL Faster Than Light\

I guess Steam wasn't nice enough to give it its own folder?

Since the free update/expansion was released there's also an additional folder in the ftl game folder titled "FTL AE Soundtrack" That has a few more songs.

This is actually pretty good general info as well. Any time you purchase or acquire a soundtrack on Steam, it is almost always housed in the game's file directory.

I'm having problems finding it on my mac...

Seriously though, I'm glad this old thread is still of use to people, it's also worth noting Steam has updated their library settings to include a "Soundtracks" tab in addition to the usual "Games" and "Software" etc ones. So (I assume) it can also be located and enjoyed from there as well.

This is was pretty good, Aptoide TV actually when you noticed.
