Am I just a REALLY bad player, is it this hard for everyone?

Only ever played on the ipad.

I remember it being extremely hard, fun, and exhilarating. I don't know if I played 50 or 100 games on casual before my first win, and then eventually moved to normal. I still don't play on hard.

I have every ship and option unlocked. I still play everyday. Sometimes for an hour, sometimes for much longer. At first, and for a while, I used to play non-stop, like 10 hours/day.

Since the ipad has no mods, to keep things slightly fresh, I alternate ships everytime I play (first ship a, b, c then engi ship a b c, etc, till the end, then all over again)
