Suggestion: Alternative Game Mode - No Sector Limit

Hello all,

I am enjoying the FTL beta - the game is great. To avoid spoilers, I'll leave out the specifics but I was a little heartbroken to learn about the limit of sectors (though I'm not sure if you can get past that, I haven't made it that far).

I would like to suggest a "sandbox" mode of play where the number of sectors just continues on, non-stop. I understand that difficulty could ramp up only to a point but making this game play style all about the number of sectors explored vs the number of points generated could give the game a completely different style of play if you're up for the challenge.

Hell after the boss there should only be boss-like ships with massive amount of firepower and so on, so even if you do kill the boss, other sector would have ship like him ( maybe a bit easier and not AS bad ass as him ).

If you beat the final boss (like I have) then there's a greyed out option to "continue playing". It's pretty clear this will be enabled later...
