You'll still need to drop a ton of scrap into weapons, while neglecting things like shields etc. I'm curious, though, did you manage to win with this run?

And if you decide to invest in power to power these weapon you gonna have a bad time.

please tell me you did a save and quit after that and made a copy of the save file that you keep (and maybe share) for the lols!

thats an excellent idea!

the problem is that i died in the same sector: first hit powered down the glaive, the second hit got my cockpit

had to slowly see my ship getting destroyed... nothing to do about it

hate not having shields

My first run with the stealth B I wound up with two Glaives mounted on the front before the end of the first sector. Not necessarily useful but it looked awesome. 8-)

I once found the weapon pre-igniter in a pirate's ship remains on the first jump. Lost that run anyway though.

Sometimes if you find a particularly powerful but power-consuming weapon in Sector 1, you should count to 5, take a deep breath, and then sell the damn thing. Sometimes you can get a lot more mileage out of 37 scrap that you can use right now.

Honestly the most powerful start I've had has to of been getting up to 3 burst laser 2s.

By the 3rd sector I was one volleying everything.
