Re: Android Port
So do we. But there are no official plans to pursue it. We will likely look into the possibility sometime after release. Three operating systems is enough for us for now

I would happily buy the game again if it came on Android. It's absolutely perfect for the platform - hell, I'd even pay more for the ability to play it without having to be stuck on my pc.

Absolutely. It´s made for handling by touch and slide on tablets from 7" up.

Re: Android Port
The only problem I see is the pausing mechanic & its associated micro; at advanced levels it becomes very click intensive.
Replace it with a game speed slider and it'd work much better for tablets.
In fact a game speed slider (controlled by mouse wheel) would probably work better for the PC too!

I logged in solely to say this is something I would support. My Transformer Prime tablet goes everywhere with me and it would be nice to play a quick 15-20 minutes of FTL when out and about.. None of the controls are really impossible and the graphics aren't the type that scream 'gaming pc', so to me it's a perfect fit. Maybe a kickstarter just for the port? ^^

I registered just for this topic. It would take some work but the game just seems perfect for tablet.
It needs to happen. That's all there is to it.
