FTL Soundtrack available for pre-order!

Postby benprunty » Fri Aug 31, 2012 7:10 pm

Hey guys! I just put the FTL soundtrack up on bandcamp for preorder! For five measly dollars, you can get the ENTIRE soundtrack; five tracks now as a teaser, and then the whole 29 tracks when the game comes out September 14th:

The soundtrack will be a little bit cheaper on Steam, and will be in mp3 format, But on bandcamp you can have it in pretty much any file format you like. Also, remember that if you backed the Kickstarter past a certain level, you would get the soundtrack through there, in mp3 format.

Enjoy!

Hey everyone,

We're a week away from release, so I unlocked two new tracks on bandcamp! Cosmos (Explore) is a relaxing ambient piece, which becomes a fun dance tune for Cosmos (Battle). The Battle version was somewhat inspired by the 90's electronic group Underworld, one of my favorites when I was a teenager. Enjoy!

Your music's been in my head for days, so I've pre-ordered. I hate you.

I've had the 5 demo tracks you get from pre-ordering the sound track for a few days now.

They don't fill the void for the complete game.

But they're still great listening. :D

What price is it expected to be on steam?

I'm still talking with the Steam folks about it, (I know, last minute) but I'm thinking it'll be $4. So if you don't care about file format (it'll be mp3 only) and want to save a dollar, then just wait a couple days. :) It'll have all the same tracks, including the two bonus tracks.

Sounds awesome! I'll get it whenever the full game is released, so I can enjoy it during slow math sessions :D
