That description is a half-truth! They come into contact with a Crystal ship but that's about it. The RNG said they should suffer damage instead. :P

Also, noooo not the Defense Drone!

I like the scenes in asteroid belt. Cracked glass and severed pipe! It is only me, or someone is getting in mood for "The Martian"? ;)

KESTREL ADVENTURES EPISODE TWELVE!

"Is there a Mrs. Pavalo somewhere?"

Pavalo lectures the crew about the origins of the Rebellion, and a desperate stranger teleports onto the Kestrel.

Yay! Another episode. And they didn't use missiles this time! Did the Kestrel run out?

I can't remember which sector they're in because the enemy ships still seem to be armed with single shot guns and single shield layers and yet the kestrel has 3 layers of shielding (judging by how it got hit by two guns and yet a bubble still appeared).
So I'm guessing it's Sector 3 but in that case, when are the better armed ships and 2-shield layer vessels showing up?

Oh and that Rebel backstory. Pretty cool. I like it :)

Best episode yet, in my opinion, at least first half. I just love those political intricacies in movies/literature/whatever.

Albeit, fights where kestrel beat opponents without a scratch are getting little old, to be honest. Give them some more challenge! And yes, Blackbird is still favorite character ;)

From the bonus episodes, IIRC they're still in Sector 2 but nearing the end of it.

And a great episode, though I agree I little less actual play-by-play of the battles is probably in order.

What Estel said, it does get a bit boring watching the Kestrel kick the enemy with little effort.
Maybe get the crew to "sell" a shield layer, editing the game with FTLEditor or something. Idk

Maybe I'm missing something, but I doubt that they're illustrating real run, indiscriminately. I think that (when showing in-game things) they're using material from various gameplays, arranged for the plot requiments.

Or they just play on Easy ;)

No this was a real run. When they finish a sector they show how they got through that sector, with some commentary about the episodes that took place there. And I also remember someone saying they played multiple runs before finding the one they wanted to turn into a series.

Wow, thats pretty cool, then. Even double pity, that they haven't done it on hard or CE, then...
