mod ships not there

mod ships not there
not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm having trouble with the slipstream modman thing. I've tried to get some of the fan made ships and such, but when I patch them in, only the original default is available. what am I doing wrong?

Thats strange... I could think of several things that could be going wrong here.
If you attempted to load the mod in manually using the mod manger tool, make sure that it did indeed register that you selected the mod. Sometimes it doesnt save it and it won't include the mod. However, you can simply patch the mod using slipstream and then open superluminal. If superluminal doesn't detect any changes, try refreshing it. Superluminal is also really picky, so if there is any typo in the ship blueprint in the mod superluminal won't load it. You can check if this happened by looking at the terminal (only opens the terminal if you open it via the .exe)
