Thanks for the help! I'll see what I can do to resolve the os.join bug, but I launched FTL, and so far it seems that all mods were installed successfully. I think the problem with not seeing tkinter is, as in my video, the default .py application is IDLE. Thanks again! :D

Apologies if this has already been answered, but when I try to run modman.exe, it says that no supported version of python is on my system and gives me the link to go install. However, I have python 2.7.5 installed on my computer. Is there something really obvious and stupid I'm missing?

EDIT: Never mind, I'm an absolute idiot. Was selecting the wrong thing :oops:

I have installed python, but when I try to open modman it says there is no supported version. I have no idea what python is or how to use it and I have no idea what to do

@Philtehsamuraiwalrus
Double click on main.py instead of modman.exe (it's broken and fails to detect Python)

@kartoFlane
I've started rewriting modman.exe, so the next release can be ready for Grognak to package upon returning.

So far, I've got the registry and PATH searching done, with unicode awareness*.
Still need to learn how exceptions work, so it can fail gracefully.

Is there any reason why 1.7 needs to run as an Admin but 1.6 does not? And are there any really bad bugs in 1.6 that 1.7 fixed?

I personally downgraded to 1.6 from 1.7 because I've had 0 problems with 1.6 and 1.7 requires that extra "run as admin" step for (as far as I can tell) no benefit.

I can't get it working at all.

Whenever I launch modman.exe it say's I don't have python installed, I do. I'm running on windows 7 64bit with a 64bit version of python 2.7.3 installed.
