I think your resource.dat claims to be larger than it is. And GMM is trying to read something beyond the end of the file, then panics when it can't find anything.

See the post about corruption.

Can't get it to work

Postby Apache310 » Thu Jun 13, 2013 8:02 pm

I installed the file but when I try to open it it gives me another zip file and when I open that it clones the second file. I may just be missing something obvious but I can't find it and I really want to play with some of the mods, please help

I installed version 2.75 of python, and i double clicked on main.py and a command prompt breifly flashed before closing. Then a box popped up that said "Some files extracted from Grognaks mod manager v1.7 win32.zip were modified or new files were created... Do you wish to add them to the archive?" this happens everytime

Do not double-click files inside WinZip/WinRAR/7-Zip/etc.
What you see in archiver apps is merely a peek at the zip's contents.

Extract everything to a real folder first. Then run main.py from there.
