Infinite space 2 recruitment and suggestions.

Hello modding community! This thread has been created for people to suggest idea's for events, weapons, ships, and everything you think Infinite Space 2 needs! From now on, I would like all ideas for I.E.2 in this thread, so we can keep the main one solely to show any updates on the mod itself.

We also are recruiting some people to join the project itself. currently, we have:
English narwhal - project director
whoopty - Event author
Ora_unit_SR388 - UI designer
xlandar - sprite artist
and of course, drktemplar, creator of the original Infinite Space

the positions available are:
    event author (more events)
    ship and weapons spriters
    weapon designer to build weapons with those sprites
    ship designer to build ships with those sprites

Basically, if you have any ideas, unused ship sprites, or want to join the project itself, post here!
This thread will receive multiple updates if new positions become available, or something important comes up.

I might occasionally make enemy/re-balanced player ships for you guys.

We do have more positions available, actually!
- event authors (more random events)
- Spriters for weapons, more ships
- weapon designers to build weapons for those sprites
- Ship designers to build ships for the ship sprites

The last one, and if he's up for it, (Not really, he is my sprite slave. Muhahahaha!) I'll share Hanzz as a recolor artist.

I will most definitely write new events! I have so many ideas... :idea: Also I've played 178 hours of FTl, and love it.

Hmm I have a few ideas, but i'm not sure if they'd be right for this mod. Thing is I wanted to add a race eventually when I learned how to mod FTL, but the game does not allow modded races, you can reskin existing ones, but not make a new race. So if I were going to add my race, it would be a distant looming-on-the-horizons (in event text) faction.

Possibly, I don't know much about event modding. AFAIK, since it's the same sector repeated over and over, any major quests could appear again (like normal events), that could really screw with things XD.

Can I suggest something? Imma do it anyway, or even, if it's been fixed, imma just say it, these ships be too damn hard for early sectors, getting ships with vulcans and 3 shields on sector 2, when i have a skimpy little laser pew pewing away at jack all. Please, address this quickly.
