I don't really think that's why he is mad. He is just doing it for sick entertainment by now. He never even really mentioned the fact that his "story" was deleted. that was just a theory. But yes, he is the same guy. Also, his story was never deleted, I just moved it to the comments.

Having tried that extra RAM thing in the OP, I've had just as much success as before (zero). It literally didn't make any difference.

You don't need to do the memory thing unless you are using Endless Loot. Your load order should be fine, and you've already reinstalled everything, so I'm sorry but I can't help you any more. I don't know what the issue is. :? Hopefully when Sleeper comes back he may know.

Yeah, I figured the RAM thing was for Endless Loot, but I wanted to try everything. Thanks for the help though. I'm seriously puzzled as to why I'm having trouble this time around since I've used it many times in the past for different versions all on this same computer.

Is there a Linux version of the RAM helper program? I've been wanting to try EL for months and still can't seem to figure out a way to make it work. ._.

I seem to have encountered a huge problem that ended my CE: Infinite playthrough in one burst.

I was just doing my usual FTL business and then I encounter an event where a Federation encrypted message is sent out that says something along the lines of a bunch of rebels terrorizing the civilians of this sector and you must find them. I had the Improved Sensors option so I used it. Then I encountered a Rebel equipped with what looked like a chain vulcan of sorts. At first, it only fired 1 shot per burst. Suddenly, it just wouldn't stop firing. It just kept firing and firing and firing. I tried fighting against it by cloaking but my weapons took to long to charge I only managed to get one shot off while cloaking. After my cloak ended, I was finished. Boom, an entire playthrough ended by an infinitely firing chain vulcan. If the chain vulcan is supposed to do that, then it is OP as hell. If not, please get it fixed.

Wow, I'm away for a week and there are six new pages to read through. Thanks for all your bug reports and inputs, they have been noted and will go into the next update. I won't be able to comment on everything right now, but I'm a little disturbed that there are death threads against people that create free to use game content. Well, the internet *shrug*. New moderators have been appointed to deal with the problem in my absence. Thanks for your support.

Some enemies classes in CE or EL can have the defense scrambler augment. ;)

Do you use EL? If so, do you use the non-EL enemy weapon patch? Did the weapon look different than a normal vulcan? (color?)
