If I try to change ships using the arrow buttons or click RANDOM the game locks. I did do a full run with Enterprise with no problems.
This is awesome! Slight problem: selecting the Borg Cube (Formerly the Engi A variant) either through the "Random" button in the hangar or choosing it in the Hangar ship list will cause the game to crash. The Borg Sphere (formerly the Engi B variant) is okay. How does one fix that? Would overriding the Borg Cube with another mod replacing the Engi A fix the issue?
the game crashes whenever the borg type a is viewed in the hangar. the only time i have seen this happen is with a ship that hasnt been updated for advanced edition

I believe that is caused by artillery that is not updated to AE. Don't take my word for it though, I'm by no means an expert on modding.
I just spent several hours trying to figure out what's wrong with the Borg Cube, and can't for the life of me see it. Can someone point me to a guide for updating ships to AE?

Like I said in my earlier post, it's probably the artillery. You'll need to assign the artillery a weapon to use.
Example from the FED Cruiser:

OK, I'll look into it. The Borg Cube has 4 custom weapons, is one of those an artillery weapon? Or do I have to assign a room even if there isn't an artillery weapon?
Can you do one more update with more ships because of extra ships added in advanced version?

Awesome mod however whenever I try and play the borg ships the game crashes I read the post earlier but dont know what im suppose to do with the artillery code?
