Re: Space Sickness and Crew Injuries

Or as official DLC, after release, with bonus events, including diseases, more playable ships, extra races, free for kickstarters like me, or for a couple of £'s (or is that taking it a bit far?)

Re: Space Sickness and Crew Injuries

If this feature was added to the game, then there should be a "dirty bomb" weapon. 1 missile, low breach chance and on successful hit gives diseases to all enemies in that room. could be effective strategy for repelling boarders, too. Obviously the diseases could require a lot of balancing...

Re: demo

I can't speak for anyone else, but having paid for the finished game(not beta) i don't think letting new players play three times without paying is too generous- to be honest, the devs will probably only do a demo when they've finished the full game though. it's a nice thought though.

Re: demo

Perhaps for a truly representative demo it could be something like the tutorial, then three full playthroughs. it's a little generous, but it gives possible customers a full experience, and wouldn't allow them to abuse it. they could replay the tutorial as much as they liked.

Re: demo

I'm fairly sure they mentioned the demo for onlive wouldn't work a while back- and it's now unrepresentative of the finished product. again, i'm no dev either so it may be stupidly complicated, but why can't they have a couple of lines of code for the demo whereby at the end of sector one the game c...

Re: demo

I'd have to agree with you here. I've pre-purchased the game, but since i didn't have the cash for a beta key, i'd appreciate a demo- even if it were just the first sector of the beta. that wouldn't take too long to program, the devs could pop it on steam to stir up some support and i'd not have to ...

Re: Anyone else a fan of Towns?

I do enjoy it a lot more with heroes- i can open up a dudgeon and not lose any people, as the heroes continually die and then re-arrive. only problem is when people decide to go and haul ITE's from the dungeons or make graves from the dead heroes.

Re: saving in FTL

I see save/continue has been added to the latest build. I thought I'd post to say a huge thanks to the devs for adding this feature, it is massively appreciated. The last few weeks I've not really found time to play FTL. The next few weeks, I just know I'm going to be playing it whenever I can. Sec...
