You having destroyed a cruiser scares off the rebels away so they won't advance for 2 turns if you outright jump away, or 1 if you decided to loot the rest of the wreckage, as you did. Infact it's stated in the last sentence, "if you earned some time, you already lost most of it"

The hulls are nice, but I think you went a little overboard on the late-game scaling on some of these, figting rebel ships with 15s cloaks and high evasion that spam 3-4 dmg missiles at you before the flagship is frustrating

I tend to run into some very awkward situations in this mod; the very first encounter I got with the 2nd Mantis station is unwinnable unless I sacrifice one crew (Auto ship that i'm forced to fight since can't trade anything), and sometimes I get 3 times the same event while other events are very ra...

Are you still working on this? It would be neat so see some other weapons like the Titan mm cannon, you could even add in some weapons from Generals like the Avenger beam or Laser Crusader.

The sounds from the Virtual opponents weapon also are gone from the Combat Simulator.

The latest CE Ressource pack doesn't seems to include Anti-personnel laser sounds? They are missing for me, but other sounds like the changed rocket ones appear to work for me.

Can you make a list of the music tracks provided by the Music Addon? It doesn't feel right to not know which tracks they precisely are.
