Re: No Steam? Put larger warning sticker on GOG option PLZ!

You know, us lot who actually get use out of steam and are happy to support one of the few reasonable forms of DRM would probably take you a bit more seriously if you didn't act like steam was literally the spawn of Satan himself.

Just saying. ;)

Re: Activating FTL on Steam. Why?

If you have steam and use it then there's no reason not to, you're opening steam anyway. And you still have access to the DRM free file, which I think a lot of people forget. It's not like steam's gonna erase the DRM free file from existence is it? :P (despite what some people may want you to believ...

Re: Funny Easter Egg

WARNING: Off topic. :P 'Course, my goodwill shall turn to seething rage if they sell out like Redigit did to Terraria... Are you referring to Terraria getting a console version? Because it's not like they doubled the content in the PC version for free before hand right? :P Don't get me wrong, it's s...

Re: FTL should have a New Exploration Mode

There's already a mod for this, although granted it's a bit hard to find so here you go! http://ftlwiki.com/wiki/Mods#CaptainShooby_-_Disable_Rebel_Fleet_Pursuit There's an .ftl version as well, for use with the mod manager , but I can't track that down yet. We really need to get the mods sorted out...

Re: No Steam? Put larger warning sticker on GOG option PLZ!

I'd hardly call steam intrusive, it doesn't use that much in the way of system resources and all the pop ups can be turned off. But each to their own. And hell, they even fixed offline mode (FINALLY), so that's not a problem any more either. Back on topic, this is kinda silly. It's said very clearly...

Re: Demo version

As an owner of fully paid version I oppose to demo. I'd rather see devs working toward enhancing the product than waste time preparing demo for ppl who can't make up their minds. Because driving away customers who are quite right in being cautious with their purchases is an ace idea. ;) $10 (or abo...

Re: Being sucked into space

Why not just maintain the realistic approach rather than changing to line up with Hollywood science? Well this is the crux of the problem isn't it? Hollywood science, whilst nonsense most of the time, is cooler. It just is, that's the point. It makes for much more interesting storytelling, which I ...

Dude, you've been asked to stop spamming that around several times now. :/ If people wanna use it, they'll use it.

Re: Demo version

If you dont like it - dont play it. If you like it - pay money to developers and continue playing Yea, except it's very hard for most people to not find some pathetic little excuse as to why they shouldn't pay for the entire game they just played. Hell, people who've paid will complain about how th...

Re: [Modding] FTL UnPacker 1.0.1 - .dat un- and repacker GUI

I only have Java 7 installed and this was the only error I got (I ran the original one again to show this): http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg554/Mad_Doodles/Other/ftlunpackerv1error_zps9ea1b50a.png So yea, bizarre. I dunno about you but I hate it when I fix a problem but don't know how. :P I'm ...
