Reducing oxygen still will be reset after the event ends, unless the ship is turned hostile. Yeah, I know. Just disable Weapons, Hacking, Teleport, and Drones on both ships, and so the player will just have to wait 'til he can jump (which he will be able to because he'll have gotten fuel as compens...

One question though, sleepy: The distress event where the civilian ship needs oxygen. You can try and dock to refill some of their oxygen, leave them to their fate, do piracy, or blue options. CEi features a new crystal sector type, "Ancient" or something. Upon entry, if you don't have a Crystallite on-board, you're forced to jumped to deep space.

I don't know if Sleepy placed the crystal ship unlocking quests there though.

Unfortunately there is nothing in the event or the ship blueprints that give away how this fight forces the bigger enemy window. Seems to be hard coded. :| Even then, this event has less restrictions than the real flagship fight - namely, you can call it outside the eighth sector, and it isn't tied...
