Events that disable systems or reactor power reset when you leave the beacon. It shouldn't be permanent, unless some sort of bug popped up on your game.

If not, it could just take a good 'Turn it off and on again' :)

Quick question, (Thats what this thread is here for XD)

Is there a spreadsheet or list of essential things for an xml coding text file, for making a custom Beam that I could use? Ive done a lot of searching before coming here, but not many seem to have a tutorial specifically for Beams.

Abslutely!
By using a bit of Superluminal magic, you can REPLACE an existing ship with a modified Type C ship, and patch into the game.

As far as type A, B, and C at the same time, not too sure. ;)

You need sensors or a visual on a character to target with mind control. I.e. hacking drone, bomb teleport, boarding drone.

EDIT: actually, Mind Control doesn't show up until the 3rd stage. By then, Sensors is gone. :P
