Re: Boarding ships suggestion

That's funny, I was just thinking that Rohk :D

Or how about this, don't staff it, leave a ghost ship (stripped of everything valuable of course) that you have booby trapped to mess with the enemy fleet that you know is coming :D

Suggestion: Space Suits?

Now, I am not quite sure if its already meant to be abstracted in the crew members that they are already wearing gear, but that was not necessarily readily apparent to me in the demo or more recent update videos (thank you for those, look forward to more) that a reduction in the health of a crew mem...

Very interesting thoughts on possible versatility in the teleporter.

Here is a couple of my own; what if you could teleport:

Re: Missile Reloading

Maybe it should depend on the type of weapon, I could imagine that some sorts of weapons continuing to hold a charge might be dangerous to your own ship if it were to inadvertently discharge while still in the weapon ;) Yes, I totally just suggested yet another way for the Devs to have us deep six o...

Re: When is the beta coming?

I appreciate busy, and not wanting to release a broken demo. However, I'd like to point out we paid $25, which is over the original $15 for beta access. It would be a good idea to release early so people don't feel like the extra money went to naught. And here starts the entitled "I paid"...

Re: Events which test the player morally

I don't think this suggestion is a good one and here is why: Faster Than Light. Follow with me here, in order for something to have a reputation, enough information that another party can ascertain the actions and likely motivations for those actions needs to reach them, communication - are we in an...

Re: Really Looking Forward to it

IIRC it was a PC Gamer podcast that first had me going "What's this now?" The stories coming from that early build were enough to make this highly anticipated. Then I think it was a article on the PC Gamer website that led me to FTL's website which seemed little more than a splash page and...

I would like to echo that the Original Post is fantastic and I agree with it. Nice icons :D Are they umm, available for use under the creative commons license?

Re: Steam Achievements (PC version)

I am the opposite, I couldn't care less about cheevos unless they have the unfortunate side effect of being necessary for a unlock, then they just seem like an arbitrary hindrance/prerequisite to player driven choice. So for me, cheevos are best done when they are more just a acknowledgement of some...
