It seems like that just was not a lot of fun and the intention for teleporters were a means for bypassing the shields (kind of like with missiles and bombs). OCD about why Level 0 is 0%, Level 1 is 10% and Level 2 is 19%? Yeah, it is kind of arbitrary, why not just have it at 20% for Level 2? It's not so much balance concerns as people trying to intentionally set up surrender conditions such that the ship blows up afterwards. That would really cause some folk to try and maximize their gains out of a fight when it really shouldn't be encouraged.

Assuming no zoltans a ship at full power has 25 bars. If OP isn't powering his healbomb all the time his weapons are at 6 (or7?) power. No my engineer stayed at his post. I'll watch that one next game, it seemed odd at the time and I wonder if perhaps there was a bug in there somewhere. I've also tried lowering and raising shields in battle, and it had NO effect on the XP of the guy manning that station. Hmm... You absolutely sure ...
