Make it harder! A true roguelike should be less than 1/100 win ratio for a skilled, intelligent and reasonably lucky player. My ratio from playing nethack, anyway.

What if your ship docked with a station through one of the airlocks? Then you could send crew over for whatever the mission dictates - putting out fires, fighting your way to a room, etc. and not need a teleporter.

This has happened to me several times as well. I'd definitely like to see a mouse hover effect that shows all possible jumps from a node.

You could argue that guestimating jumpability is part of the game but eh...
